I fell in love with the L.L. Bean Pincushion Quilt when it came on the front cover in a mail catalog one day. It would be a great design to show off your prize collection of Moda Charm Packs.
That day I looked and looked all over the internet for the pattern. I was baffled when I could not find a pincushion quilt pattern anywhere.
I found the orange peel quilt pattern that was similar, but it just wasn’t the same.
Then I stumbled upon the Cathedral Window pattern and some great tutorials on how to create it. They all are a little different, but I think you can pick and choose and come up with your own combination of ‘how to’ once you have read them.
What is great about this pattern is that it is ‘quilt as you go’ and you can make it any size you want.
Now if I can only find some time to get mine made! I might just have to settle for a couch pillow!
