Enter to win some Renee’s Garden Seeds! Gardening with Caren is taking a break because of the weather. I’ll be back with more tips on gardening and starting a garden after the holidays. In the meantime, a great holiday gift for the gardener in your life would be a small live fir tree or a rosemary bush decorated with seed packages for ornaments. I saw this idea out at one of the seed company websites.
Here is a similar idea out at Martha Stewart, but on a larger scale:

Seed-Packet Ornaments – Martha Stewart Christmas
Seed Packet Gift
What you need: 1 potted live small fir tree or rosemary plant, 6 to 10 seed packets your gardener will love, transparent tape, yarn in a festive color, hole puncher
Instructions: Use 2 inch pieces of tape and create a tab at the top of each seed packet, folding the tape over on itself to create the tab. Punch a hole in each tab. Tie a piece of yarn through the hole to create a hangar for the seed packet. Hang the seed packets on the live fir tree.

The seed packets are so cute! And I love growing heirloom tomatoes.
Very cute idea with the seed packets! If I did not have so many ornaments or had two trees, I might consider doing an all garden tree. I would also like to do a sewing tree sometime.
